Digitalising Maternal Medical Records
Project Kampong Chhnang
Our project focused on improving maternal and child health in Cambodia by building a digital health platform in partnership with Water and Healthcare Foundation and KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital. We worked closely with local nurses, translators, and healthcare staff to make sure the platform fit well with how they already work. By using a train-the-trainer approach and making regular improvements based on feedback, we helped ensure the platform could be used and maintained by the local team. We also adapted it to be accessible in both Khmer and English. The project gave us hands-on experience working with real-world tech and stakeholders, while the community gained a useful tool and the skills to keep it running. Breaking the Cycle: Improving Menstrual Product Accessibility and Sustainability for Low-Income Communities

People of low income suffer from period poverty, a phenomenon where they are unable to access (hygienic) menstrual products necessary for daily life due to economic impoverishment and stigma that causes neglect. Additionally, the primary products used are one-time use and environmentally unsustainable and damaging which is closely linked to accessibility. The first problem we wish to solve is the insufficient amounts of financially accessible menstrual products. The second issue we would like to tackle is the lower-income group’s lack of access to hygienic menstrual products. Lastly, we wish to tackle a lack of awareness of reusable products, which can help alleviate the environmental threat one-time use products bring to the earth.RedWarriors

Our final project consists of a 3D model of a room co-developed with SMU students for the purpose of easing symptoms of jadedness. The room was created using 3D software called 5D planner. Redefining Red Days
Redefining Red Days is a creative initiative addressing menstrual stigma and education gaps faced by young girls. Through a series of relatable comic strips, we tackle common misconceptions, health anxieties, and societal taboos surrounding periods - inspired by real stories from friends, family and online research.The project aims to normalise periods, reduce shame, and empower girls with confidence. This project was done partially in collaboration with Go With The Flow (GWTF), an organisation that aims to bridge gaps in access to menstrual healthcare and eradicate period poverty in Singapore.Redefining Red Days
