Giggles Gang
Our IEx project aims to enhance menstrual, reproductive health and sex education at Borneo Komrad Sekolah Alternatif through a sustainable, community-led framework. By training teachers and senior students to become peer educators, we seek to foster open, culturally sensitive discussions on puberty, family planning, and consent. The project will also develop accessible educational materials and visual aids to improve understanding and receptivity. As a supporting project, we also plan to pilot a simple medical record database to support the school’s mini-clinic operations. Ultimately, the project seeks to empower the community with knowledge, promote gender respect, and improve long-term health awareness and accessibility.Project Country: Malaysia

Team Empower
Our IEx project seeks to raise awareness about health literacy, especially about non-communicable diseases (NCD) such as diabetes and hypertension, among the Rohingya Women community in Selangor. This is done through the co-creation of materials, training the community leaders as peer educators and encouraging them to share the newly acquired knowledge with the rest of the community. This includes healthy diets, lifestyle choices such as exercise, as well as when and where to seek medical help and check-ups. Currently, we have managed to train 8 peer educators and have successfully reached out to 75 community members through conducting house visits.Project Country: Malaysia

Posture Pals
Our Impact Experience (IEx) project focuses on tackling posture-related health issues through 3 pillars - posture device, application, and outreach. We aim to raise awareness about good posture and its importance, as well as provide practical solutions for healthier daily habits. The project includes three components: a hardware posture detection device, a corresponding mobile application to track posture and encourage improvements, and an outreach program with awareness campaigns and workshops. Our target audience is students, and through this IEx project, we hope our audience will gain awareness and adopt better posture practices.Project Country: Singapore

GutGuards
Our IEx project gamifies healthy eating knowledge centred around gut health to make nutritional information engaging for young adults. We personify gut microbiomes, creating characters that represent different beneficial bacteria and their roles in health, mood, and brain function. The project addresses the gap between nutritional knowledge and practical application, helping young adults understand how diverse dietary choices support optimal gut microbiome diversity. Through interactive storytelling and character-driven narratives, we transform complex microbiome science into accessible, actionable health guidance that align with mainstream pop culture and eating habits.Project Country: Singapore

Vietyum
Our project focuses on promoting healthy eating and lifestyle habits among secondary school students in Hanoi, Vietnam. Partnering with the NGO Rikolto, we ran interactive sessions that combine short talks, games, and hands-on activities to make learning about nutrition fun and relatable. Through this, we aim to raise awareness about the risks of obesity and empower students to make healthier choices in their daily lives. Beyond education, we hope to build lasting partnerships with local schools and communities to support sustainable, long-term improvements in health and wellbeing.Project Country: Vietnam
