I founded ACRES when I was an NUS undergraduate, believing that animals deserve a voice and a place on this planet. Over 20 years, I grew it into a national movement for animal protection. I then spent a decade in Parliament, championing bold climate action and speaking for the voiceless, migrant workers, refugees, animals and marginalised communities. I helped shape over 260 laws.
Now I’m back at NUS, where my journey began, to walk with you on yours. As your IEx mentor, I’m excited to co-create projects in Laos to protect animals, fight inequality, uplift lives and build a more compassionate world together.
